Hypertension , how to beat it ?
Well, you need a tremendous willpower and openness to change the lifestyle, which is the basic cause of hypertension. Unfortunately, very few people have the flexibility and determination to do it.
It is quite easy to avoid hypertension by following some simple measures. The only thing is; one has to be consistent and determined for it.
• Avoid salt: Limit the consumption of salt. It holds extra water and puts unnecessary load on the heart and blood vessels. Reduce the amount of salt in the daily diet. Refrain from fast foods and processed foods.
• Avoid Alcohol: If you can’t stop it completely, then limit the consumption. The more alcohol you consume, the higher is the risk.
• Avoid Caffeine: Caffeine causes a sudden surge in blood pressure. Avoid it if you feel uneasiness after a cup of coffee.
• Avoid sugar: Though there is no direct correlation, excessive sugar increases weight which in turn increases blood pressure.
• Avoid stress: Stress is one of the biggest reasons of hypertension. You can avoid it by positive thinking, meditation, Yogic exercises, and breathing control.
• Avoid excessive weight: Reduce your weight to optimum levels because the more weight yu put on, higher is the blood pressure.
